That does not clear it up as in this case the player concerned has HAD his medical? What player would take the time to have a medical with everything else agreed subject to the whole thing going tits up If saints decide to sign someone else if they can? What a waste of time unless the player is not that good and is prepared to be messed around to join saints. What a welcome to the club knowing that you are not rely wanted!!!!
The way I read Guan's comment is that everything can be agreed ready for a medical to take place, but the medical can be delayed by the players existing club due to another transfer inward at their end. At least that is what I think he might mean!
I'd say it's probably us just delaying the deal while we wait on our first choice target (Rojo I guess). Nothing wrong with that, clubs don't always get their first choice.
Is it possible that the CB that had the medical has said he won't complete, unless he has someone like Rojo alongside him? Apologies if this has already been suggested.
