Trying to copy RHC? Really? I was the one that picked up on the original spelling error which is where it started from so if anyone is copying anyone... PS...and that's your variation included
Cavani's agent has said we've enquired about him. I'd be pleased. Plays well as a second striker. .5 goal ratio as psg and much higher at Napoli. 27 so not that old either.
Just never been totally convinced when ever I've seen him play. Can't say I've seen him loads, but since he left Napoli (where him, Lavezzi & Hamsik had a couple of brilliant seasons) he's seemed a "good" player. Missed a few simple chances against Chelsea and didn't look brilliant at the WC.
Mixed feelings. Loved him at Napoli but he's not been the same since his move. Could a move to us revive his career? Do we want the other half of the Uruguayan attack?
At this point I'd welcome anyone who plays up front and is better than Lambert. Shame Derek Asamoah appears to have retired! He would have fit our style... pacy- play anywhere up front, out wide, striker or 2nd forward.
So according to the BBC, the "top 5 bargain buys chosen by the fans" are Sanchez for £35m (35m can never be classed as bargain, unless you've signed Messi, Ronaldo) Navas for £8m for Madrid (hardly a bargain because he'll never play given Lopez and Casillas are ahead of him) Valbuena for £7m (seems a good buy after his decent WC but not seen him in the league much) Kroos for £24m (bargain for £25m? Again, not sure you can class it as a bargain unless you've signed Messi/Ronaldo for that price. A good player but then again Madrid don't really need him so how much of a bargain for a squad player? Plus he only had 1 year left on his contract!) Ochoa for free. (He looked a good keeper, so a freebie signing could very well be a bargain). http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28682394
Assaidi's move to Stoke has gone cold... Not good! Was said to be stumbling block over wages... surely he can't be asking for that much!
He's 20? Thought he was older than that... Sterling has made me place unrealistic demands on youth players now! Wasn't overly impressed with him against Chelsea- but that was a really difficult game to make a debut at. Chelsea, played out of position, trying to come from behind. Not fair to judge him on that day. Noooooooooo! Sell the Ass!
Yeah, wouldn't judge him on that 1 game. He did have a shocker though. Anyone that is looking to break into the first team should really be playing Champ football at that age though. League 1 at 20 probably suggests he wont make it with us unfortunately.
Good News: We did officially bid on Shaqiri. Bad News: It was rejected http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...nich-reject-xherdan-shaqiri-bids-9655205.html
smith's ancient... he's better than mclaughlin right now though.... lad had a serious injury guys in fariness but i will say no chance he's a top 4 player for us. can have good career still. It's like coady... wish the lad well stop just giving our youth the cold shoulder when they have to move on.
Stupid sensationalist journalism: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...Ezequiel-Lavezzi-move-in-danger-of-collapsing Liverpool's £18m Ezequiel Lavezzi move in danger of collapsing Despite their interest, Liverpool have yet to make a move for the star after discovering he is looking for a long-term deal worth around £20million, not to mention a transfer fee of around £18million. How on earth can the move be collapsing if we've "yet to make a move for the star"? The move was never sanctioned in the first place.
It's a lot of money for the man in the street but any major club in Europe would of been absolutely delighted to land a player of Kross's quality for £24M, including liverpool.
Would love him. Think he's a top player and will have a huge season for City if played enough. I'd rather we got him for £25m and City got Falcao.
Can play centrally or as a second striker behind Sturridge. Could do as job as a wide forward as well. Still young, decent goal scoring record.
Jovetic would be good. Looks like he'll get more game time at City this year though so doubt we'll get him.
Liverpool Echo: It remains unlikely that Sturridge will be paired with Swansea City’s Wilfried Bony, despite constant speculation linking Liverpool with a move. The Ivory Coast international was on a list of potential replacements for Suarez but the Reds are understood to have cooled their interest. Bony’s buy-out-clause is believed to be £19m and his wage demands are likely to have put Liverpool off.
