I like how Rou Reynolds can't decide what accent he wants to sing in. Listen to how he pronounces "path" at various points in that song. Then there are those other bits where he just talks, like the dude from The Streets. Awful stuff.
We used to make fun of that too I listened to their newest song the other day. It's somehow even worse.
"Sorry You're Not a Winner" and "Anything Can Happen in the Next Half Hour" are what they're all about. Everything from there was just them riding the success of those two songs. Fun fact: my mate Max is in the video for the former, wearing a really stupid hoodie.
Anything Can Happen was my favourite of theirs. They're in a totally different crowd now it seems, it's some kinda weird grunge emo dubstep mashup.
Sometimes, and other times it sounds like he's trying extra hard to force his English accent in there. Several variations of an English accent at times.
We seem to have an amazing number of accents for such a little country...varies from one town to another.
I had a lot of good times at their concerts when I was a hyperactive teenager, but now I'm too old for that **** and I wouldn't be able to tolerate the music. You didn't miss out musically.
I have discovered a place I can buy three bottles of Sol for £5 and a burger for £2.50. I'm off out after work to spend £7.50.
The Wetherspoons opposite Southend rail station does something like that. Well, I know it does 3 Sol's for a fiver at least.
Yup, it's a Spoons. Can't believe I never knew about this deal. I've been getting two Desperados for £5, and taking advantage of the fact that all their gins are priced the same despite Hendrick's being miles nicer than the others, but this is a whole new level of bargain.
We even have massive variation in Northern Ireland too. A town will have a completely different accent from another one 10 miles down the road.
http://www.reddit.com/r/relationshi...e_i_32f_just_discovered_my_husband_34_of_six/ This is...just an insane story. People are assholes sometimes and the ones who attempt to justify their behaviour are the worst.
Yeah that's really weird. It's quite worrying that it doesn't seem like he can't bring himself to stop behaving like that.
Can't believe someone would consider trolling strangers on the internet more important than their wife and kid. What a dick. That woman clearly made the right decision in ending it, fair play to her. Plus, if you're stressed, there's plenty of outlets for that which don't involve being a dick.
Here's one to include Fran on the Enter Shakiri conversation - they tend to record on the Isle of Wight at Arreton Manor - the producer Andy Gray (no, not the football one) and his wife Julia live. He co-wrote the theme tune to Big Brother, hence the money to live there!
I also don't think you can isolate that behaviour and hope he will be okay as a husband and father...normal people don't behave like this, so at some point other bad behaviour will appear. Look at two recent cases where men killed their young children because they made a noise while the fathers wanted to be on the internet. A troll is already dissociated from reality...could easily lash out if interrupted from their addiction. At least this woman had the sense to walk away, I am constantly amazed at the dreadful men some accept into their lives and their children's lives.
