My wife would go mad with you for calling them custard tarts (or at least call you some names in portuguese under her breath.) If you are calling cutard tarts what I have called Custard tarts in the past then you mean Pastel de nata. The 'caffe Nero' chain also sells them and she says they are good
If you ever pass through Brighton - there's an excellent coffee shop on Queens Road, down from the station, called Taylor St. Baristas. As well as exceptional coffee, they do a stunning Pastel de nata. But to keep it on-topic.......ummm......it's a lovely place is Portugal, even if David Cameron is in Cascais, at least LES REED is in Lisbon.
I agree. Stay away from 'Little Britain' aka the Algarve and the rest is really nice. Hope this Rojo deal comes off that really would shut up the piss takers especially if a couple of more big names follow. Then we can go for the PL champions target I am setting
Another one to mull over: Phillip Wollscheid from Bayer Leverkusen. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2014/08...verkusen-defender-philipp-wollscheid/153867/?
I know we were linked to Luciano Narsingh last season but not heard anyting this season. Lighting quick winger and I reckon would link up well with Pelle. Hope we can make an approach, Narsingh, Ramirez, Tadic behind Pelle would be immense.
Roberto Bonafont @RobertoBonafont · 1h Southampton ofrecerÃa 18 millones de euros por Javier Hernández (delantero mexicano de Manchester United). No idea who this guy is, but he has over 300,000 followers on Twitter. A journalist, or just a fan maybe?
He's a freelance journalist, I believe. No idea on how respectable though. If what he says is true, we've offered MUFC a deal worth £14.3m for Hernandez.
Does anyone have any more info on the potential player joining today? I wonder whether it's that young guy from Utd we were linked with a few days ago?
Did some clicking about. He's had some claims on transfers turn out to be legit before they happened, he spoke at Cristian Benitez's funeral(?!) and his Twitter Audit comes out okay, so I'm going to go ahead and say we're signing Hernandez today. Or is that a little bit of a stretch?
I don't think it would. We'll have another two up front, but in wider positions, who can get the ball to Hernandez in plenty of positions.
