Falcao DOB: 10 February 1986 (age 28) Suarez: January 24, 1987 (age 27) There is over a year difference FFS
From the sounds of the Die Welt article, it's active now. Or it could just be Rummenigge winding Dortmund up. Or both.
I saw this quote which suggests we'll get him for much less... ...he also said this... ...so I'm inclined to believe randomguyonthestreet TBH PS...I may have been talking to myself on the street recently!
I don't care how old Falcao is. If he is the difference between finishing in Champions League and no Champions League- he is worth pursuing if feasible. If he is the difference between no trophy and trophy... he is worth pursuing if feasible. 28 still has a couple of seasons left.
Any substance to the Falcon rumours on BBC lads? If his injury hasn't affected him, he'd be a top class replacement for Suarez
I'd be very surprised if Arsenal are even interested in Reus, clearly just papers making things up because we made an inquiry for him a while back
So according to the papers we're going to buy Falcao, Alonso and Reus (also whispers of Konoplyanka being back on the radar) in the next few weeks. Happy days
Quite possibly, they just say that "according to our information" Arsenal are the frontrunners. Why wouldn't you be interested though? Surely he'd be an improvement?

The Colombia international was subject to an inquiry from Liverpool several days ago as Brendan Rodgers attempts to secure a top class replacement for Luis Suárez. The approach from Liverpool has gone no further. Falcao is keen to return to Madrid having enjoyed a successful two-year spell in the Spanish capital with Real’s local rivals, La Liga champions Atlético. He left that club for a reported £50m last summer but has not settled in Monaco and suffered the knee injury that destroyed his World Cup hopes in a French cup tie in January. Manchester City have also shown interest in the former Porto forward, with both Premier League clubs understood to be keen on a loan deal with an option for a permanent transfer. However, Falcao appears Real-bound.

So Madrid, not happy wit spending £24m on Kroos, £71m on Rodriguez, are now going to spend £45m on Falcoa We should be looking at a couple of their players, Khedeira or Jesse would have been good.
