One of the best youngsters in the Bundesliga IMO - he's 22 so I think he's at the right age to play at the next level, just as Suarez and Torres did when they moved to us. He can play on the wing or centrally and he's intelligent player and technical.

Haha. I'd also like to go for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also.

The other punts I would take are Luis Muriel and Fischer. Muriel was extremely poor last season combined with weight/fitness issues, and Fischer has a poor attitude and suffered a serious injury.

Both would be relatively cheap considering their drop in form but they have incredible potential.

Fair enough. Not sure I'd rate him that highly, but I admit I didn't watch that much Bundesliga last season.

He's young, and it's only really last season that he's made a name for himself. Was called up to the initial German squad for the WC, but didn't make the final cut.

  9. What was his figures for last season then?

PS...I realise these are stats and I say I don't pay attention to them. I don't pay attention to see how good a player is but they can show if someone isn't good enough.

11 goals and 9 assists in 33 games. Of those goals, 7 were in the first half of the season, 4 in the second. Successful passes 67%. Source: http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...13-14/48998/vereinsspieler_kevin-volland.html

Arsenal are ahead of Liverpool and Bayern Munich in battle to prise playmaker Marco Reus away from Borussia Dortmund according to German newspaper Die Welt.

Bayern Munich executive Karl Heinz-Rummenigge said in an interview earlier this week that he understood Reus' contract contained a buy-out clause set at just less than £20m - significantly less than previously imagined.

    Taken from the BBC.

Anything £20m or under would be a steal for Ruess.

How many ****ing youngsters do we need?! <grr> And it's not like they're cheap either! Falcao would be immense, and he's the same age as Suarez and 2/3 the price. Could he easily do 3 years for us.and he would teach our youngsters a thing or two

Previous quotes have said the buy-out clause does not become effective until next summer.
