If we go into the season with Raheem shouldering the burden of being the second goalscoring option - I'm afraid we're heaping too much expectation on the lad. He could flourish. Or more likely be thrown off by being constantly man-marked and isolated. I've liked his game since I first saw his ostrich run several years back, so I do have faith in him. Still, we are asking a 19 year old winger to become a top 2 forward overnight? Get Reus!
Sigh..... So when sturridge is out for 6 weeks and 4 goal lambert plays I suppose miraculously we'll still win our games to get to 4th and compete in the cups and all.... Best of luck with that I'm happy to await Rodgers promised striker
There have abeen a few Canada remarks on here, probably due to Livtor being from or at least being in Canada. My lad played a Canadian team at footy last weekend the whole bunch were nuts from coaches to players, 2 red cards later they called their players off the pitch and abandoned the match.
I've only just looked at this thread, and all I can say is WTF is going on?? Livtor's style and confrontational attitude has ruffled most feathers on here at some point (including mine), but I really don't see how a stream of invective- without even touching the debate- is going to help. Perhaps I've missed something. Despite its rather singular style, the OP is interesting. Of course we can all disagree with the details of exactly who will score how many, but overall it seems like an achievable total. 15 is certainly within Studge's grasp, even with injuries, and a couple of the midfielders have been marked down, imo. Another striker is still a priority, but effective build-up and chance creation is equally important because, broken down in this way it's obvious that there are goals in this group of players. It remains to be seen as to whether or not we've managed to plug our leaky defence.
