Juventus have released confirmation of Mauricio Isla’s provisional loan move to Queens Park Rangers, for an initial €1.2m.

The Chilean was confirmed by the Premier League club yesterday as having completed formalities on the deal and received a work permit.

Now Juve have added their confirmation to the move and numbers they could earn from the initial loan deal.

“Juventus announces that the agreement with Queens Park Rangers for the temporary loan, until June 30, 2015, of the registration rights of the player Mauricio Isla has been finalised for an amount of €1.2m to be paid during the 2014-15 financial year,” the club have listed today.

“The agreement also provides Queens Park Rangers with the option, to be exercised by the end of the 2014-15 season, for the definitive acquisition of the player at a price of €10m to be paid over two years.”

I wouldn't pay that. He can help us stay up and then we get someone else.

Another key signing, if he performs anywhere near his WC displays, could be the enforcer we desperately need, and take a little pressure of Joey.

Even if there is a chance he could be our best player...?

I guess I'm rating him as I see him now. If he's our best player, maybe. I'm not sure he will be our best player, though.

Whatever happens we have got ourselves a €10m player on a reasonable loan fee. Good business in my book.
Considering Juventus paid over £12m for him, if he turns out to be a success €10m doesn't seem such a bad deal. Either way it's a low risk low investment for us. Win/win situation.

I assume we get first refusal next season too? So no one can nab him if he has a great season here?

Actually when you convert the Euro amounts into sterling it's not a bad deal....€1.2m loan = approx £950k.....€10m fee = approx £7.9m payable over 2 years.....pretty decent in today's daft transfer market.....

I assume we get first refusal at the end of the coming season. Depending on how he performs €10m [£7.9m] could well be a bargain!
