Luke Young wanted to end his career too...! Seriously, it shows how far we've come in rebuilding the club in the last 18 months if players are saying this now.
That could be a few years down the road for him if he emulates Brad Friedel or Mark Swartzer (spelling?). Just as long as we're not seen as a haven as an a old folks rest home, or the last chance saloon for a big pay-day club.
Good to hear about Green but I'm still trying to work out why Cesar was recalled and yet, we haven't heard anything about him, from him, from Harry or the club. I was going to post a thread about it yesterday but it is good to see someone else has noticed too. Very strange indeed!
Green was commentating on the Athlone match on Tuesday and sounded full of enthusiasm for the coming season. His tactical knowledge was very impressive.
