And OR, I actually think a voluntary boycott of products is a very effective way of exerting pressure at the individual citizen level. Much of my argument on this thread has been that shouting and screaming a hate of Israel in anonymous forums or down the street on a Saturday morning in a one off march is pointless, they are not listening. That there is very little we can do. This we can do. Now politely educate people that if we all stop buying x, y and z, which will stop the big 3 from ordering it, wholesalers and shippers from bringing it and it starts to rot (or equivalent) in a warehouse and slowly but surely you may get Israels attention where after all it matters most...their pockets....it won't effect them a lot with US markets but it'll start to show them and our govt that we dont like their part in this bloodbath. Treat people like they have intelligence and they may make an informed and intelligent choice. But if people shout and yell at others demanding they do this or they're idiots or apologists or try to take that decision away from them, the instinct is always to react negatively to those shouting and screaming right now as opposed to the Israeli strangers thousands of miles away.
