    Hello people
I've been quiet for a while - mainly due to a lost password and couldn't be arsed to sort it out.
Anyway - last week I did and as the board is quiet I thought I would make an effort...
So my OT topic whilst there is no players incoming....

Where else would you live ?
There has been a lot of comments in the last week from certain quarters about how **** London is and all southerners are twats etc so I would be interested to know
if you couldn't live in the North East or whichever part of the globe you live, then where else would you be happy to live and why ?

Personally - Ive done my time in London, a happening place but prefer now just to visit as I like the rural life. Sheffield and Hebden Bridge are on my list (I like hills)
and if I could find some money, a renovation project in the Dordogne or Provence area in France would suit me just dandy ...

    Tell me your dreams......

I have to identify with this/
I always wanted to go to the States with a couple of mates, buy a big 5 litre yank tank and spend 6 months cruising across from East to West. I've heard that those yankee girls just love our accents and I believe it would be one big shagathon.... remember that scene in Love Actually,,,thats me... !

Definitely not Hebden Bridge - lived there, done that, hell!

Living in Romford now to a true Essex lady - looks like I will never be leaving here until we retire possibly to Suffolk.

The Champagne region in France is truly amazing - picturesque, quiet and of course the best champagne for about £10 a bottle!

The Greek island of Andros - beauitful and untarnished by tourists!

    Arnhem, Holland.

I go to Holland a lot, I decided to visit Arnhem so I could get a look at our history during World War 2 and just fell in love with the place. Lovely little town and the natives are lovely people.

    Welcome back!
Good to see you and hope you have been well.
I love California, and in particular the Santa Monica/Venice area.
Would also like to ice in New Orleans.
Outside of the US I love Turkey.
In terms of the UK I'm a Yorkie by birth and was born in Bridlington so love places like York and Harrogate.
I do a lot of travelling around the uk so would also vouch for Alderley Edge, Oxford and Marlow.

Anywhere I could go surfing, preferably on a narrowband that only does 3mph because I've never surfed before.

Amsterdam - I love the place. Beautiful in summer and nothing like having a drink sitting by the Amstel River or one of the canals

Northern Michigan USA -Beautiful area of the country. Small towns only one 'big' city [Traverse City: 50,000 population] and the countryside is spectacular.
Arizona/ Nevada/ Utah - Not everyone's cup of tea but has some the greatest scenery on the planet - Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Monument Valley etc
San Francisco - I went there this year and fell in love with the bay area. Downtown isn't the nicest but areas like Telegraph Hill, Marina District, Filmore, Haight-Ashbury and the gorgeous Sausalito across the Bay....

Tuscany - Never been but it looks stunning. Any area of the world that has Florence, Pisa and Siena can't be too shabby.

South of France/ Italian Border - Arles, Aix, Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo [yes I know it's Monaco], Portofino....

Madrid. One of the few cities that has traffic jams at 4:00 am as one set of clubs close and another opens. Good football too.

[random fact for you: there are more bars in Spain than in the rest of Europe combined]

    Too many to mention!

    Canada - Yukon
US - North Carolina or Colorado
New Zealand - The Bay of Plenty
Austrailia - Always fancied a bit of Melbourne, they seem sport obsessed

There are loads really though. It depends if it was just to live for a few years or settle.
