    Yep, lethal to our hopes of scoring anything this season! 13 goals in 107 appearances for Cagliari doesn't fill me with confidence!

    The Victor Ibarbo rumour has started up again because the largely inaccurate ITK Indykaila tweeted that NUFC Officials had been seen in Italy. Other twits then starting guessing who they might be after and someone thought maybe Ibarbo seeing as how we had been linked with him during the World Cup. From there it quickly snowballed into other twitter ITKs claiming that NUFC officials were in Italy negotiating with Cagliari for the transfer of Ibarbo. If NUFC officials were in Italy, I would far prefer them to be looking at some amazing bargain of an Italian CB.

    Though we are most likely not signing Ibarbo, I would say that 4/5 goals per 38 games seems pretty disappointing even though he is a winger. Might be a creative maestro of a winger though for all I know.

    As a person I'll always have fond memories of HBa but I think bridges are burned now and to have him around will sadly have a negative effect rather than a positive effect on our club.
    I wish him well but his time is up.
    I think a few of the kids were chanting for him to get at Pardew and the same lads were singing 'pardew give us a wave'... then booing him when he did..
