I got to Div 3 in the online leagues. But can not get any higher due to the chip ball and the long diagonal punt up field that always lands at the other teams wingers feet.
Made it to div 3 in Ultimate Team, and then started getting thrashed because I stopped using my best team and used a very experimental one. Never really had any problems defending those kinds of balls, but I did figure out that you need to be very careful with your defenders' positioning, and never close down with them. It only ever ****s me over now if me opponent has Aubameyang. Then I might as well just put my controller down and bend over.
I only play Seasons and I bounce between div 1 and 3. Never really have a problem with those balls because I'm so used to them coming that I just be careful controlling CBs.
I can't bare UT anymore haha, stick to career mode. All these stadiums and faces will make 15 great for Prem careers
Any one ever have a pen awarded against them for your keeper bumping into a player when he kicks the ball? I have had that 3 times now.
I get to the top league on Ultimate Team and then usually get relegated. Some amazing players there. Rarely play it anymore as rage quitters / those people who keep running into their own net when they lose spoil it too much.
I'm exactly the same. Every season it lets me win the first 3-4 games, then I draw one or two and have to scrape survival by a point. Every damn season. The 45th and 90th minute goals are a ****ing joke. Too many goals conceded from corners and even crosses, your defenders may aswell not exist. I got to within a point of a division 1 title, I had to draw and the title was mine and I scored an equaliser deep in stoppage time. Then he goes up the other end, swings in a cross which my defender heads away and then the ref blows for a free kick near the corner flag for absolutely NOTHING. He crosses in and scores, fully 3 minutes after 90. There is no consistency in the A.I of the players. So frustrating.
Started playing a career recently just because I wanted to try out the other game modes. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be. Trying to take Deportivo back to their previous glory days on world class difficulty. Promotion was no problem but then only getting something like £1.5m to spend on transfers has made La Liga pretty tricky! I could only sign Sergi Gomez and Oier from Barcelona B, and then Claudio Pizarro in January. I win very occasionally and am 15th or so.
I just play Pro Evo 6 on the Nintendo DS. I always win on the hardest setting because I have Shevchenko and Henry up front I don't play Fifa anymore, too frustrating. Couldn't get past div 5 on Seasons. I don't like the way you have to start using a superstar team like City or Barca.
I find that sometimes in Division 1. Half the games are against people about my standard who got there in quite plucky fashion, while the other half are just ridiculously good. Never won the top league - my best is 2 points off
