Where are you? Where are you? Where are you?............. in all seriousness, can you see Chico playing in empty stadiums like these? He is a fans player and loves the crowd interaction - he'd be bored ****less.
Amir Wänks is an anagram of the OP. He could use it to post on the Lekhwiya forum. No need to thank me.
Gone: Ãlvaro Vázquez, Leroy Lita, David N'Gog, Michu, Alejandro Pozuelo, Roland Lamah, Jonathan de Guzmán, Ben Davies, Michel Vorm Rumoured to be going: Wilfried Bony, Pablo Hernandez, Jonjo Shelvey, José Alberto Cañas & Chico 1) QPR two years ago brought in all these great players and were relegated. 2) Sunderland brought in 11 new players last year and were almost relegated. 3) Southampton lost 6 and most people think they are going to be relegated. I can kinda see why some people are a little concerned. I can't wait for the season to start so this whole argument can be settled. Let's how these guys are better than those that left and are about to leave: Bafétimbi Gomis, Marvin Emnes, Gylfi Sigurðsson, Jefferson Montero, Stephen Kingsley, Łukasz Fabiański
Must be the biggest turn around of players for us in a very long time, but I would be very worried if Britton, Dyer, Routledge, Williams, Taylor, Rangel, Amat, etc were on the exit list! Bony, Gomis, Emnes, Sigurðsson, Montero, Kingsley, Fabiański, Britton, Dyer, Routledge, Williams, Taylor, Rangel, Amat, Shelvey, Bartley, Ki, Tremmel, Jazz, Orlandi, Donnelly. We need a defensive midfielder, center back, and right back, I think we will be ok!.......................
No - ML signed for Swansea for 2 years with an option for a third year: this option was used shortly after Swansea won the League cup...
Mikra seemed like a nice guy when he first joined this forum? What happened? Why so bitter and twisted? Just wondering why he's still here, as he seems to hate the Swans. But at least he's entertaining. I have a laugh every day reading his drivel.
I'm sure if you had your posts disrupted like this, and nobody (mod?) reacted you suddenly would change your mood from being a nice guy to someone else. I do believe I've earned/deservedly more credit than this...
Lads please refer to all posters by their posting names. No need to try to belittle others with petty name calling. Also, this is a public forum where everyone has the right to post. Thanks.
I was referring to how many players had left the Club yesterday hp Hysteria was setting in based on one dodgy article in the newspaper - yet no one had left the Club. I agree with you, no one likes a high turnover of staff (apart from the agents), but it appears we are bringing good quality players in to the Club who will fit into our system and trainin in a particular way. My main worry would be to see Chico and Bony leave without being replaced - but that hasn't happened yet. http://www.southwales-eveningpost.c...-claims-sell/story-22084162-detail/story.html
If Rangel loses his regular spot and Chico leaves , who would have thought that out of defence (defenders and keeper ..5 first team players )that the only old guard player left standing is captain Ashley Williams ....the only one I thought was going at seasons end .
Yep, especially if we have a decent defender to replace him. I don't want to see a prancing fairy roll on the floor diving and cheating in the heart of our defence. The way Fat Sam stood there and laughed at him summed it up for me. Then again roof, perhaps you like the George Michael look The only problem is, Caulker bloody signed for QPR. We should have signed him as soon as the window opened.
You could have signed Hangeland on a free transfer from Fulham (if someone had known Chico was leaving anyway).
We can do better value than Caulker , let the "QPR's " type teams overpay . I just dont see Amat or Bartley starting the season as one of our #1 CB's .without problems . Time to spend a bit on defence , if not we will leak goals . Was really counting on Chico staying ,still hoping he stays.
According to SWEP Chico in Quatar having contract talks. SWEP also report Swans spokesman describes newspaper reports of Bony leaving on the cheap as farcical.
I am not liking this mass exodus of players one bit. As mentioned,QPR bought almost a new team and were duly relegated,Cardiff did the same,it does not work. Key players Bony and Chico should be held to contract and a "not for sale" sign put up. Why on earth are we letting Chico fly to Qatar to join Laudrup? He's been Ash's first choice partner since he arrived. We have already lost goalkeeper Vorm, defensive midfielder Canas, and left back Davies,as well as Britton out injured, and that's just the defensive side. I have to question Monk's purpose in all these departures.
