I don't do much texting with them, if you're both out and a bit wasted guess it's ok but in normal life my cut off point for texts is 10pm, and I never drunk dial or text, generally limit it to one text a day as well if you're having a conversation/back and forth thing. Got to and should be occupied with other things, otherwise they'll think you're a bit needy or clingy in my experience
