That's actually quite well written, as well as being funny.

    Agreed.
And maybe the funniest bit is watching Hockadays and Junior's faces during the first part of the interview.
"At the press conference unveiling of Hockaday and his assistant, Junior Lewis, the pair looked like escaped cons who had, owing to some hilarious technical mix-up, been put in charge of Leeds United." Hopefully they continue to be a laughing stock for another decade or more.

I almost want them to succeed after that.

    Almost...

I know it isn't strictly true to life, but on my 2014 Football Manager game, in the 14/15 season, Leeds went down bottom of the Championship.

Make of that what you will...

Sadly I wasn't in charge of them at the time, I was working in the Netherlands for Feyenoord.

But if I had been, I would've made damn sure Junior was my second in command.

I wonder if Lewis will get Booed by his own fans again, when he walks near the side of the pitch?

Brilliant article...thanks for posting. With Cellino, Hockaday, and the worst player I ever saw in the black and amber, Junior Lewis, in charge Leeds are doomed. Its going to be hilarious watching the ongoing shambles.

You never saw Dean Marney or Peter Gulacsi then? I'm sure those with a better memory than me will add a few more.

You just cannot make it all up. I have now got TWS to go down. Worth a quid on a championship treble.

Anyone who thinks Junior Lewis was the worst they saw hasn't seen the true ****e. Tony Brien, John French and David Jones make Lewis look like Platini.

Cue OLM and Simon Walton but he was miles better than either of those listed.

Gulacsi wasn't great but only because of that Leeds game, Jakupovic has done something similar on 3 separate occasions.

He was better than some others we've had. Who was that Jocko keeper that Hately signed - I want to say Scott Thompson? He's probably the worst keeper ours or otherwise that I've ever seen. Also anyone remember the likeable liability that was Calamity Bracey? He seemed to get sent off nearly every game he played*.

*I'm sure the stats won't back that up, which is why i said 'seemed'.

Lee was indeed however whenever I think of him the primary memory is of him bossing Cardiff at Ninian Park - no really - scoring twice, including an absolute 30 yard screamer. They were unbeaten at home for over a season and we turned them over 3-4 before our bus got bricked on the way out of the car park.

    Happy days.
