"bitches", "lackies" (sic), don't know you as a person and that suits me fine because you come across as quite an odious, obnoxious character. Are you remotely capable of posting and debating without recourse to insulting name calling?

You are entitled to your opinion as is everyone else on this forum and you make some valid points but you obviously are unable to do so without denigrating those who disagree with you and resort to juvenile name calling best suited to the playground - not a forum for adults.

Happily I have choices and I choose not to share my time with the likes of you, so this is my last post on this forum. If it tolerates the likes of you, it's not for me. Pathetic standards here. A few of you need to grow up. You know who you are.

Really don't get why some Swans fans' are making such a thing over the players that have left.

Michu - because of his injuries & personal issues last season, he never featured much anyway!! We have Gylfi, dead ball specialist too!! So no big loss now...
Pozuelo - must admit, when he first signed, thought we had someone special, but really flattered to deceive!! So no big loss also...
Canas - well quite a tidy player, but didn't push up any trees for me!! So if he's a little 'sensitive' over Poz's treatment by the 'nasty' Swans management, he can feck off anyway!! Probably be no loss too...
Also Ki's a better player anyway...
Pablo - well this is actually a shame, as he actually played far better under Monk for me & seemed to revel playing a free role in the middle. No sign of any issue of the problem with the other Spaniards too!! Chico, same too, seemed to just carry on playing his game... But if he feels (Pablo), that his future is better off somewhere 'sandy', all the best mate!! We have Gylfi & Montero now..
Ben - never want to lose a young player, especially one that is Welsh & obviously talented too. But the amount of stick he got on here at times over the last couple of seasons, really amazes me, that now he's gone, he was the best thing since sliced bread!! Taylor was the man before & will return that way too. So again a massive shame, but we move on..
JDG - was never our player anyway & divides opinion somewhat impressively.
Vorm - yes a shame to lose, but never really commanded his area & has been at fault for so many goals too, so 'rose-tinted' specs!! Think Fabianski, now being at a club as first choice, will move up a level...

Pro's now - we've signed good players, we've also got rid of anyone who doesn't want to be at the mighty Swans & I hope Monk finally rams it down the Laudrup 'cry-babies' throats, of how over-rated he was as a manager, over a prolonged spell...

Yup. We'll do well to keep Monk's record of not having lost a league game by more than one goal.

Sounds like people either trying to reassure themselves that everything is rosy or going completely the other way and thinking the world is about to end !

Truth is in the middle init.

Im quite relaxed about the whole thing, if Bony and Chico leave we will be desperately short of proven premier league players, add to the fact Monk is a rookie manager and it will be a slog.

However, we have some strong players still at the club or recently signed, we will get goals with siggy, gomis and the midfielders chipping in with a few, the defence should be able to cope rotating Amat and Bartley.

Monk said he wanted 3 players, does that mean it will go up to five if we lose wilf and chico or has that already been factored in ?

The only saving grace if we struggle for signings is the loan market, we have 3 options and we if the worst happens we may well spend out on top wages to bring in a couple of top players in to cover while Monk looks to the Jan window.

I think we all need to balance this subject, its still too early to gauge anything from the playing squad or the numbers that will be involved.

We owe it to the club to remain upbeat, im sure they didnt plan for so many possible departures, we must consider this IMO.

Agree NJ. We are in a very good position at the moment in terms of quality of the squad.
However should Bony go for anything less than £28 million (Lukaku's fee) and a replacement not brought in immediately then that would be squeaky bum time.

It goes with the territory, Chico started off well enough but last season he cost us in too many games, I'm not interested in any players that do not want to play for my club, they can bugger off to Camel land with Laudrop, enjoy your games in front of 2700 Arabs, in the back water of football...................<cheers>

I thought Chico was our key defender last year, so to lose him would be a major loss. He has his moments (who doesn't), but he got sent off on one occasion last year trying to clear up other defenders weaknesses.

If we sell Bony, I expect us to go out and buy a shiny new £20 million striker.

    Indeed. A very good summary.

The most disappointing departure for me was Pablo as well. Thought he was playing really well in his new role and put his alleged disappointment with the changes behind him.
Wish him well though as he played a big part in the last couple of years and seemed a decent bloke. Never forget that fantastic pass he did to open up the Cardiff defence. If Gerrard or someone had made that pass they'd been drooling over it on MOTD.

All speculation, but if true it cannot be healthy to have to lose and have to replace so many players. Lots of argument about merits of in and out-going players but at the moment we just don't know, but lots of team struggle when there are too many new players.

Some argue if players want to leave then let them go, but we continually hear that players want to leave various clubs but Chairmen and Managers talked them around but more importantly you have to ask why so many want to leave. Players often unhappy for one reason or another and manager has to get them back on side, he can't just get rid of them, particularly mid-season.

Monk cannot be buddies with the whole squad all the time.

Lets just hope that these latest rumours are just speculation.

I dont think they have a problem playing for the club its maybe the manager they have a problem with .

Chico didnt cost us anymore than the other defenders IMO. Had some massive games for us too.

I hope he stays here myself, i think he is a cracking player overall . :)

What fantasy land are you in?
He made a handful of errors and got caught out a few times covering an under performing Williams.

A very sensible and even handed post.
It is galling that Soton have sold three of their stars for £72mn and so far we have had (an optimistic) £6 million for tree of ours.

Of course we don't want to get rid of Bony, but if a huge offer is made we simply have to take it.

It's quite obvious that I wasn't implying all Spanish players are disruptive. We had a large group of Spanish players that couldn't speak English, naturally they were going to group together. It was not necessarily any individuals fault, but it had to be rectified and we weren't going to get rid of all the English speakers.

It's not that the likes of Ben Davies and Bony want out of Swansea, it's the fact that they'd be stupid to pass up the opportunity of playing at a higher level. Naturally, professional players want to progress as far as they can.
