He certainly hasn't impressed this summer. Think Peterson looked better than Lambert even! Still... hope for Lambo- he might get better as the season goes on... for now though doesn't belong near the first team.

He's more of a forward than a striker. He played most of the season at PSG as a wideman of a front 3. At Napoli he was more a creative flair player than an out and out goal scorer. He's skillful, fast and a good dribbler but hasn't scored 10 goals in a season since he left Argentina.
He's kind of like Suarez. He plays where ever. At the World Cup he played on the right. I think at Napoli he played off the main striker. Or he can be a false 9.
Thanks, that's what I thought. So he wouldn't really be address our striking issue by the sounds of it then. His name does start with an L though, so that's good.
Lavezzi- plays as striker or winger. Age 29. 1 goal in every 5 games on average. Argentinian. Last season was his best (for PSG)- got 9 goals and 4 assists in 32 games. A little shy of one goal every 3 games. One assist every 8 games. His stats don't look very good for his time at PSG. Looks like he may be a poor option based on current form.
Maybe he thinks he's better than Neuer? Maybe someone's buying Neuer? Maybe Pep asked him really nicely? "If you can't actually be at Barcelona, this is just like it!"
Yeah, he'd be a good attacking player to have, but he isn't a going to be a Sturridge replacement/cover. More of a Suarez but less good and without the goals.
He has some in the know transfer knowledge. We are apparently in talks with a striker, they play in the Premier League, RHC doesnt rate him, we said his name a few times well guessing and its not Agbonlahor.
Tevez is a much better goal scorer than Lavezzi though. I'd like Tevez, but he's 30 and Juventus would want a lot for him. Plus there's the baggage he comes with.
