I really think we're all set now, aside from strikers. So now, we concentrate on strikers and reel them in!

That is an excellent signing and a great statement of intent for the coming season (and hopefully beyond if we can survive).

I do wonder about the point of an undisclosed fee when it's a much publicised release clause (of course that's probably bull anyway).

I always hoped that when faced with being asked for an extra £1m for him by Cardiff that the Board would see what a good price £6m is given he's only 22 years old and will increase in value as he progresses.

They seem to have learnt a lot from their last foray into the EPL and max respect to them for that!

Things are definately looking up and definately "the right sort!"

Absolutely fantastic news and v. excited by this signing :)

And we don't need that certain player that we have on our books anymore!

    <diva>:emoticon-0166-cake:<wizard>

    I won't mention his name.

If the fee is undisclosed it was probably too Mutch!

(Staine, I'll get someone to explain that to you later)

Do QPR ever publish the fee? I don't remember it happening.

Well he knows where the net is...anyone remember this grim night?
    QPR 1, WATFORD 3

Danny Graham (2) and Jordon Mutch were on target, as QPR's record unbeaten start to a league season came to an end in front of the live BBC cameras at Loftus Road.
The R's never really got going and were, in truth, beaten courtesy of an awesome Watford display.
Graham opened the scoring for the Hornets on 26 minutes, after he tapped home Andrew Taylor's devastating centre.
Watford doubled their lead four minutes later when Mutch's cross somehow found its way into the back of the net.
Before Graham was coolness personified to tuck the ball home past Paddy Kenny, after he was put through on goal by Stephen McGinn.
Tommy Smith scored what was to be a consolation for the R's in the 89th minute.
QPR made one change for the visit of Malky Mackay's Hornets, with Heidar Helguson replacing Rob Hulse in attack.
Kenny resumed in goal for the R's, behind a back four of Kyle Walker, Matt Connolly, Kaspars Gorkss and Clint Hill.
Shaun Derry and Alejandro Faurlin were in defensive midfield.
Jamie Mackie, Adel Taarabt and Smith were deployed just behind the lone striker Helguson.
The R's twice went close to scoring in the opening minutes.
Walker's quick thrown-in found Helguson, before the Icelandic front-man touched the ball on to Mackie on the right, who cut in to drag an effort just wide of the post with his weaker left foot.
Moments later, Watford keeper Scott Loach was forced into a quite stunning save to keep the scores level.
Taarabt and Mackie combined down the right and, when the latter's teasing cross leapt up into the direction of Helguson, despite an awkward bounce the striker did tremendously well to keep his snap shot under the bar, as Loach got his fingertips to the ball for a corner.
This was real end-to-end stuff, typified when this time it was Kenny who was forced into a smart block at the feet of Will Buckley 10 yards from goal, after the midfield man broke away from Gorkss.
However, Kenny was powerless to prevent Watford's next effort, as the visitors opened the scoring on 26 minutes.
Neat build-up play from the Hornets eventually resulted in Andrew Taylor finding space to cross out wide on the left and, when the full-back's pinpoint centre found the feet of an unmarked Graham, he gave Kenny no chance as he fired the ball into the back of the net from close range.
Four minutes later, Watford stunned the Loftus Road faithful when they doubled their lead with goal that possessed an element of fortune.
Mutch picked up possession out wide on the right and sent over a delicious, in-swinging centre into the direction of Martin Taylor,.
However, the cross completely missed the defender's head, as the ball bounced up off the ground and into the bottom left-hand corner of the net.
QPR continued to attack and they were unlucky not to pull one back shortly before the half-time interval, after Taarabt's beautifully-struck free-kick went just inches wide of the top left-hand corner.
The tie continued to swing from one end to the other and the R's were lucky not to be three goals behind at the break, after Hill pulled off a goal-saving challenge on the line to keep out Mutch's close-range effort from a Graham centre.
Watford came out in confident mood after the break and they all-but finished the R's off just four minutes into the second half.
Gorkss and McGinn tangled and, when the Hornets man somehow managed to wrap his leg around the loose ball, Graham found himself through on goal.
The Hornets front-man made no mistake thereafter, as he bore down on the target before sliding the ball under the advancing Kenny from 12 yards.
Watford's third seemed to evaporate all hope QPR had of clawing their way back into the match, though Hill was unlucky not to hit the target when his right-footed effort - that appeared to be heading for the bottom left-hand corner - was deflected wide.
If anything, Watford looked like increasing their advantage - with the R's rearguard forced into two goal-saving clearances to keep the deficit to just three goals.
First, Derry was on hand to block Graham's header from a Buckley cross, before Kenny's intervention from another Graham effort saw the ball loop over the bar from all of three-yards out.
The R's continued to huff and puff and, though Smith added a late consolation on 89 minutes, it wasn't to be their evening.
Neil Warnock's charges can, however, take great pride from a historic 19-game unbeaten start that will live long in the memory.
