Ha ha. According to CL, ITV etc he's on the verge of signing/going to Leeds/Brentford/signing thursday. He may yet join us, and may prove to be the new Super Clive. At the moment, he's just mr viral on twitter, creating pages on Cafc forums, and nowhere to be seen. The Mystery of the Valley is unveiled!

Got a message from a French football fanatic friend of mine saying he's a good striker...he could be the one to lead us to the glory of a top half finish.

 

I'll wait for the official website before I believe we've signed him but 25 goals last year... not too shabby

 

Definitely more excited by him than the other strikers bought in.

 

Looks better than anyone brought in since RD arrived. Looks more suited to English football than Vetokele, Cucudean or Gudmundsson, although they are all talented.

According to L'Equipe, Delort is close to signing a five year deal with us for a fee of 3million euros. Nothing on the official site so either discussions have stalled or L'Equipe have imagined it.
