Im at the dentist this afty. I fookin hate the dentist, not him personally, just the whole experience. Im having a panic attack in anticipation. Is it really as hot as i feel right now ? Is it true, secret alcoholics prefer vodka as you can't smell it on your breath ? Im seriously considering a half bottle of Absolut.
Nowt to worry about, you'll be fine.
Thank you Charlie. Will i be fine though ? Why am i sweating so much ? How can i take deep breaths when i can't actually breathe ? Oh **** this im not not going. I have to go, otherwise iv'e wasted NHS money. Oh bloody hell !
Yes, you will be fine. Calm down. Long deep breaths. I bet your doing quick, shallow breathing. Stop that and do as I say and you will feel better. It's the dentist, they are not going to do anything bad. It's just fear that's all. You can do it Kempy.
I'm a bully I'll be back tomorrow for your dinner money. You won't have any use for it after today's dentistry session.
Not as much of a twat as if you carry on and pass out cos you've hyper-ventilated. Calm down, take long slow deep breaths. You don't have to puff like a old tug.
The only thing to fear at the dentist is the little prick he puts in your mouth. After that you won't feel a thing.
Grow a pair man. I've had every tooth in my head ripped out and on one occasion had 32 injections into my gums in one sitting. Now THAT was ****ing bad, but nobody died and it's all a distant memory now. Banzai!
Good luck, i am a whimp like you when it comes to the dentist and i put it down to having gas in my childhood, i still have the occasional nightmare about it now! However i go regularly and although i feel tense every second i am in there i find that the more often you go the easier it gets
i once had a female dentist who used to reach around my head and stick a bosom in my ear. very comforting. after a few years i realised she filled a tooth on every visit, so i changed back to the previous dentist (same practice) and didn't have any fillings for years.
Get in I only went and did it. Charlie mate, your advice worked wonders, long slow deep breaths. The funny thing was when my(very professional Asian female dentist), kept telling me to breathe long deep breaths through my nose. I thought of you then. x
