Indeed awful. I usually think that Barton's a grade 'a' idiot but in this case I think he has a point. Israel has a right to defend itself but is going too far. It's becoming more and more like ethnic cleansing that is being supported by the West. If the shoe were on the other foot the US and UN wold be clamoring to setup a war crimes commission. Just because the Jews got **** on over 50 years ago gives them no right to behave in such a way.

A dhimmi must pay a special tax the "jizya", a kind of protection fee for non-muslims, that is above and beyond the normal fees and taxes owed by citizens in an islamic society. Dhimmis are not permitted to own weapons, hold political office, or talk back to muslims.
I wonder how the Jews treat the Gentiles in Israel? how many non Jewish in the Israeli Parliament or the IDF? Let's look at Israel...occupying land, building walls around non Jewish, ethnic cleansing of neighbors... It could almost be the Germans in Warsaw in 1941. It's not a case of being without sin but a case of responding using rules that the international community have set up and have to abide by. The indiscriminate bombing of schools and hospitals in response is a war crime. nothing else! To use Dresden as an example to defend the Jews skirts over the facts. The Jews have illegally occupied Palestine, through force (as the Germans would have done the UK iduring WW2), the Palestinians (like the British) are using force to defend themselves from such threats. Unfortunately, unlike the British the Palestinians are being systematically wiped out by a much superior armed neighbour. The only way to sort out this mess is for the international community to force the US to make Israel give the land back to the Palestinians and to start some sort of dialogue to bring some sort of peace to the area. I'm not holding my breath.
There's 18% Muslim population in Israel mate, many of whom are part of the Israeli army fighting against Hamas. The Jewish reference is not necessary. The Muslims of Hamas are attempting to 'cleanse the Jews of Israel' the Israeli's are defending their land at all costs, no matter what the collateral is. The deaths of women and children happen in every Muslim country at the hands of Muslims, for honour, pride, rape... why is it different because they're victims of Israel's method to defend themselves? Israel is not solely occupied by Jewish people mate, this is not Jews vs Muslims, this is Israel vs Hamas. Technically Yids refers to Ashkanazi Jews as well, the ones from Europe, who speak Yiddish. The Israeli Jews are Saphardi and speak Hebrew.
These are shocking and unacceptable in a modern civilised society, and the sad thing is that the bible has unacceptable passages in as well. Organised religion is at the heart of nearly all of the present day conflicts, but that is not to say that there are also millions of well meaning people who follow these religions..
Just had a quick look and found a few references to gentile magistrates so it seems non-jews are allowed to hold positions/offices. There`s plenty of people through traffic so if there there was `minority oppression` I expect we`d have heard about it. It`s not exactly a N Korea closed shop.

The Poles tend to deny the fact. Indeed there are 2 million people are non Jewish (25%) and not 1 Non Jewish person makes it into the Jewish Cabinet. Very open.
