Darren has played brilliant for us for the past 5 years, sad to see him go but Good luck to him! Here's a video I put together, showing his best moments over the past season.
great player for our club but the way he nearly always slung off his shirt when he scored always made me look for a for sale sign printed on his back haha ! good luck pratts you will be missed.
This video would be useful on the Bolton board! Good job though mate, I'd love to see a video of all his goals during his 5 years here. He's always chipped in every year and was always a calm, composed, deadly finisher for us when we needed him! His goals against Cardiff and his goal against Forest to take us to Wembley will always be the stand out moments of his Swans career for me! Whether he's replaceable or not is irrelevant, as a fan I'll miss seeing the guy in a Swansea shirt.
I'm sure I replied to this thread, but it might have been in another so if I'm repeating what I said elsewhere I apologise. Anyone who doesn't think Pratters loves the Swans is daft! Whenever he scores, he doesn't know what he's doing half the time and just goes nuts! Not the sign of a player disenchanted and disconnected with their club. He's worked hard for us, especially considering over the course of last season his game time diminished until he was primarily a substitute. To then go on and score that goal etches him into the hearts of most fans forever. Good luck Darren! You deserve it mate.
I'll put it on the Bolton board now! Just wondering if you guys mind me posting them on here, I feel it's easier for you guys to see them rather than you subscribing on youtube, If it's annoying I can stop!
Nah you keep them coming! I think there's a way to attach a video without just pasting a link though. So you can actually have the video as part of the comment instead of linking away to YouTube! I've not had a look to see how to do it when starting a new thread yet though... (Mainly because I've not started a thread on Not606 yet!)
Quality video. I'm gonna miss Darren Pratley... The whole saga over him signing or not signing was frustrating but in pure footballing terms Pratley was a good, solid performer with an eye for goal. Definitely going to be missed!
he was so energetic didnt stop running he was like a headless chicken. but the guy was a cracking player wish him all the best for his future hope he gets a call up for the england sqaud. he deserves it
Quality vid mate! Got some goosebumps all the way through that! As much as I loved Pratleys goal in the Playoff Semi's and as vital as it was!! My favourite Pratley performance has to be 2009 Liberty vs Cardiff! Scoring two goals including the winner to make it 3-2! Good luck Pratley you've been quality for us!
I think he has been brilliant for us. I thank him for his service he has been a wonderfull player and scored some important goals. The one question is though. What do i do with my Darren Pratley mug. Keep it or smash it. any thoughs.
Cardiff goal for me was his best, and the breaststroke action would have won a Gold medal. Forest one not too far behind. Pratley will be hard to replace. Thank you Darren for the great service to our club.
Fairly devastated that he left , got a bit of a bad rap this last season IMO . Good luck to Darren , no matter where our top scorer from 2 seasons ago goes . Not to shabby this past season in the goal department either considering his minutes . Hope he gets re inspired elsewhere !! . Earned his money with us , that's for sure
Mixed feeling on his departure , as he was not commanding a automatic starting place in the end. So it was probably the right decision in the end for him. Good Luck Darren. Let's remember him for that play off Semi final goal..no better tribute.
Not sure what the heck to make of this Pratley situation, he declined to sign for us well over a month ago, he is supposed to be signing for Bolton, though he denies any agreement, he has been telling people directly he's going to Leicester, but the trail has gone cold, there doesn't seem to be any news these last two or three weeks regarding him signing for anyone, might he be changing his mind about Bolton or who ever, is he likely to do a massive U turn and come back to us, strange one this!............. please log in to view this image
"Owen Coyle is confident of capturing free agent Darren Pratley's services". Reported on this mornings sky news. Cheers Dazza, Swans legend mate.
