For any Fable-ites amongst you - we recorded the video for I Speak Words with her yesterday - that *should* be out (fingers crossed) next Monday (anyone who knows anything about these things will appreciate what a ridiculously quick turnaround that is). I can tell you - it's pretty dark.

That will be followed by another track that we'll put out there the following Monday.

Oh you'll definitely need other people, but you gotta set up the HQ first. Decide whose house is the best defensively and fortify that one, do the water thing and all that. Maybe if you have surviving neighbours you can get them all to do the same and fortify the entire road, if geography permits. Then you and the people you hopefully can trust go out on daily missions to find weapons and supplies and s**t, but always returning to HQ at night. If you have some people who know how to make homemade explosives you can turn the space around HQ into a minefield with traps and s**t. People who know chemistry and engineering and s**t like that will be valuable allies, with the added bonus that your sciency types can be quite eccentric people, thus adding to the hilarious, misfit-y nature of the group.

On the second amendment thing, it would sure make it easier to kill zombies, but the gangs/factions would also kill each other. As we learnt from 28 Days Later, the zombies will simply starve.

    Ah how much to reveal.....

Really we just have some very quick guys on it. We don't really have budget either at this stage, so don't expect some million dollar looking thing, we just want some kind of visual representation out there.

Sadly you won't see me in it. There's only her and one other person.

There are some pretty nasty and dark aspects to it though (which segue nicely with your zombie thread actually).

That sounds alright, but I kind of wanted to meet a gang of strangers. At least one positive is that I know better than to join any makeshift big communities because it'll always turn out that the leader is crazy evil and eventually a bigger threat than the zombies etc.

Also they might not starve. Some types are quite happy to cannibalise. I suppose you can get crossbows and stuff here, that normally works as long as you know how to whittle your own arrows.

If there aren't zombies in the video I'm going to be so disappointed.

You're going to be so disappointed.

Think more Black Swan than zombies.

I can get on board with that. Though I should add there's only a couple of scenes from that film I remember clearly.

Also a zombie trick. A little while after the initiel panic dies down you want to spend some time fortifying other abandoned houses in your area, some distance away from HQ. More storage space, more gardens for crops but more importantly, safe houses for when your missions can't be done in a day.

I'll be honest, I've only seen one scene of black swan. I feel it was the most important scene.

Like when the British Empire wanted to get to Australia but had to take South Africa and various islands on the way, for somewhere to refuel and keep their ****.

There's one where Portman plays with herself as well.

The film is really good, to be fair. I'm doing it a disservice.

Yeah pretty much. Hopefully with less invasion and murder.

That's why you need a sociopathic wildcard in the group of misfits so you can just turn a blind eye when you need dirty work done. Also an ingenue to fall in love with until her refusal to kill gets her killed. :(

I broke my arm fighting zombies last October; I'd at least know what to expect.
