Probably not. I like Clasie and all and he's got the potential to be that good, but he might be terrible in England while Morgan has shown how good he is here for two seasons.

Rather have a player that plays well in more then one season then a player that plays great for one then ****s off. Lallana in his first season was pretty average.

True, but if Tadic is that good then he probably won't be here too long. I've accepted our stepping stone status now!

Can I just throw into the mix......Lallana had one good season in the prem, and as good as Morgan is he only got into the French w/c squad thru an injury didn't he?
Think there are better players out there in our price bracket who will do us a very good job. And the point of not selling to Poch is a very good one.
Does that mean that the powers that be now realise that Poch stitched us up.

Daily Mail saying we've been offered cash + Vlad Chiriches for Morgan Schneiderlin.

You're mad if you think we can get a much better centre back than Vlad Chiriches. Would be fantastic for us.

There are centre-backs we can get without having to trade our best midfielder.

Chiriches is absolutely rapid, would be a great buy. Buyt why can we not just bid 15m for him and move on? Why should we sacrifice Morgan?

You really think when Tottenham really want one of our players, they'd sell one of theirs without wanting to cut Morgan into the deal?

Happens all the time when clubs try to get players cut into the deal and fail for all sorts of reasons (usually because a player isn't content to me a makeweight). If Spurs believe there's no way we will sell MS and they want to get rid of VC then yes, I believe they'd sell him to us for the right money. A deal has to suit both parties and there's more than 1 way to skin a cat...

Probably, yeah. I reckon it'd have to wait until close to deadline day though. If they give up on Morgan and sign a different centre-mid, I don't think they'll hold on too tightly to Chiriches.

We're probably better off just signing Van Dijk this week though.

    Richard Askam of the BBC:

"Unconfirmed but hear agreement reached for transfer of Celtic's Fraser Forster to Southampton...if Celtic go out of the Champions League"

    Come on Legia. :)

See Saint Fraser! thread for the real news breaker :) They can just defend, and then counter. 4-1 is a big lead.
