I thought this comment was interesting...

so I'm aware that I might have to drop down the leagues to get where I want to be, which is back in the Premier League. I am willing to do that and hopefully there will be something in the next few days that will come off and I will be reporting back for pre-season on July 1st.

I would tend to agree but Cody is in a similar situation at the moment with PL Norwich, so I suppose it led me to believe not to dismiss JB's call.

I think Leeds have signed a keeper who their fans aren't happy about, but I can't remember his name, although they were being strongly linked last week with a keeper from Coventry.
I think there's a chance we could sign Jason. He went on loan to Orient and I don't think he got a game,so if they didn't rate him, I doubt that anyone much will be in for him. He's had virtually no first team football anywhere for the last 5 years, and I expect that to count against him. Another couple of weeks and a lot of players who haven't got clubs will be getting desperate. I'm as frustrated as much as anyone that we haven't signed anyone but we may be able to pick up some decent players on our budget, the closer the new season gets.

Just googled it and Leeds have signed keeper Paul Rachubka, 30, from Blackpool on a two-year deal. I hadn't looked much into it but if he hasn't played for that long and really isn't that impressive do we want him back? :/ Although if we signed him i'd still be happy i'm sure he still has it but it's just worrying that other teams would let him pass by when he's on a free. I guess we'll see in the coming week as scally is agreeing terms of contracts with certain players..
