Friend met Nolan at Glasto

    A good friend of mine was at Glasto, and on his way to Coldplay he saw Nolan with Carroll walking past. However, when he went over to ask for a photo with them, Nolan said "**** off, I'm not a Newcastle player anymore". Carroll was pretty friendly though apparently.

    To be fair we really have no idea how he is as a person. He'll put on a nice image in-front of the press but we don't know him personally. Plus, we don't know how bitter he's feeling over the transfer to West Ham. I'm guessing he's not feeling too happy about it.

    My friend is a sound bloke though and a big Newcastle fan, and he couldn't wait to tell me about it so I have no reason to doubt it whatsoever.

    I'd guess he'd be bitter but no need to be such a **** to a fan, we didnt do anything wrong.

    Wonder why Barton didnt tweet anything about meeting Nolan there, if they're such good mates surely he'd know he was there.

    He's bound to be bitter and pissed off, but I wouldn't expect him to take it out on a fan.

    I've met Nolan a couple of times in town and he's been sweet, same with Carrol (leaving out his massive sexual predator like behaviour to some females <whistle>) but he might have been getting some stick from Newcastle fans prior.

    Woah! Wasnt expecting that from him tbh. Even if he does feel abit miffed with Newcastle there is no need to act like that with a fan. Especially, after he's been pretty much idolised over the past 3 or so years.

    But, I'm still abit dubious by it though. Would have expected it to have been the other way round.

    They were together for some of it. I saw a couple of photos of Carroll looking like a bit of a lanky goon, Nolan looking like a fat lad and Barton looking pretty cool really.

    A lad from work met him a Glastonbury on Friday and his text to us was "Just been threatend with physical harm by Nolan". Don't know the full details, but my mate is quite a mild mannered scots lad and quite he unlikly person to upset people.

    Sounds like Nolan is a bit of a prick.
