When the apparent signing of McKenna broke, along with Adebola supposedly agreeing terms, I was glad of the news. However, that was two weeks ago. I'm not in any hurry for signings, it's still June and we have till the end of August. My point is, everybody is saying it is a done deal, but why hasn't it been officially announced? It came out today that Leicester were after Danns, then they were in talks with him, then they signed him. Why then, hasn't anything been announced on our OWS? Surely they can come out and say "he has signed a deal, he is our player" if that's the case? Unless of course, it isn't a done deal at all.
Could it be that contracts run to the end of June so no official announcement can be made until then?
An optimistic school of thought would be they realise neither are particularly exciting signings and want to announce a bit of a coup that nobody was expecting alongside

I mean apart from Leicester players and Man utd youth players (and they are here because of a certain W. Joyce) who wants to sign for us. Youve read it yourselves , its not the money, so what is it? i have said all along Pearson is the wrong man.

Utter rubbish, the Man United lads had to agree to leave Man United to join us and I don't believe Liam Rosenior, Robert Koren or Jay Simpson ever played for Leicester or Man United.

Jeez, you're not really a glass half full sort of bloke are you? We've signed two has beens so far, they came from Britain's best football academy and they're both 20. Do you think Chester and Stewart are **** too? We think we've sorted three other deals, those players are 22, 33 and 36. Adebola is old in footballing terms(he's the only one) but still did a job for Forest last season. I was out today with an ex-City player and he knows Adebola well and thinks it's a very good signing, I know you probably know more than our scouting team and our ex-players, you probably have your own armchair and have achieved a very high score on FM11. You think we can't sign decent players, I think we can, you just don't know it yet.
