John Berry likes Carlisle -ever since he took Big Bertha up there many moons ago -the horse broke loose and did a circuit of the track -was allowed to race -and duly won! Pretty sure it never won again mind, but I don't think that would be permitted any more....
Put one hell of an effort in went off at some blistering pace and took the field to the final half furlong to overtake him then he stopped like a brick perhaps went a bit too quick but good effort
Was that you by any chance stick These low grade races are tricky -happy to play e / w with the value -but short prices are not worth bothering with
I have no idea why but just had such a great day again so had a tenner each way on WAAHEJ because it rang a bell for some reason...crazy...66-1 and probably no chance!
Stick after a jumper won that race just now seems good timing what u make of local hero chance tomorrow seems to be on a decent mark and is not in bad form over hurdles so shud go well what u think
Unlucky with that one -I was looking at it as well -Peter hiatt taking two all the way up there -has won at Ponty years ago so track would be fine -maybe needs cut these days and were hoping for rain -shall see if he runs it at southwell with the Cat on board...
Cheers Ron. I heard that cats moved to the smoke for a career progression. Could be finding the bright lights more appealing than socialising with us boring old farts!
He said we would definitely see more of him during the flat season. As you say, he's probably being kept occupied
