It's not an attack, it's an astute observation - you need to lighten up a bit mate <laugh>

I bet there's a fair few Spurs fans saying exactly the same thing about Liverpool right now. You guys do like to bicker with each other :)

Spurs seem fragile. That much is clear. Forget about the merits of the players. Redknapp did a good job but the club needs stability to build on it. I think that's unlikely for two reasons.

    1. Redknapp for England. He's a shoe-in. That's probably on the minds of the players now. Why stay when the manager could be gone next year?

    2. The stadium. Not getting CL money or the Olympic thing will hurt because they need the stadium to compete at CL level and will have to find the funds from somewhere, i.e. players.

    I don't have a problem with Liverpool.
I was merely pointing out the many, many mistakes that one person had made.

Liverpool make more revenue than Spurs and therefore can pay higher wages, through sponsorship and the fact that Anfield holds 6000+ more than No hope lane.
So its you thats in fact wrong.Don't ever quote Transfer League because it was put up by an illiterate Manc who is as inaccurate as a Baconface post match interview after a defeat.

What happened to, 'Spurs vastly outspent us and that's why they were better than us'?

If the prices on Transferleague are wrong, then feel free to quote your own source.
I severely doubt that you'll get anywhere near the £110m of extra spending that you were claiming, though.
    Good luck!

Aww, Swarbs is feeling left out. Utd fans must've resented all the tabloid scandal forcing them to keep a low profile, like some kind of slutty sister-in-law.

Spurs have outspent us and quite frankly aren't much better than us.In Rafa Benitezs' first season in the CL with Liverpool,He won it.Redknapp got the Q/F.That in itself proves that Redknapp is a poor manager.

I will point out the innacuracies.
Robbie Keane was not sold back to Spurs for £12 million. It was £16 million up front and £3 million in add-ons.
Luis Suarez cost £22.8 million and not £23 million as quoted.
Liverpool recieved £20 million for Javier Mascherano and not £17.3 million as quoted.

Even if all of those figures were true, Liverpool would still have substantially outspent Spurs since 2009 and not been outspent to the tune of £110m.
    Almost the opposite.

Spurs have outspent Liverpool since Harry Taxdodge took over Spurs.Liverpool have had to generally sell to buy..Spurs just bought and bought unsensibly.
Anyway I can't wait until Taxdodge goes to court..when found guilty,It will mean his imbecile son won't be on Super Sunday as he'll be visiting his dad in Parkhurst. That in itself will be a blessing,as there will be no more ''He's a fret''.

Are you a total muppet? since H&G took control of Liverpool in the same period of time your nett spend is 3 times as much. We had a total net spend of around £30 mil, spurs in the same period around £100 mil...Now i'm not an Oxford granduate, but given Spurs limited revenue streams, compared to Liverpool's sooner rahter than later the bubble has to burst...Guess the rats lining up to leave the good ship 'arry lane, would indicate that bubbles just gone pop.

You're not keeping up with this, are you Molby?

Spurs' wage bill is far, far lower than Liverpool's and more than accounts for any supposed differences in transfer spending.
The last figures from Deloitte, which are taken from Companies House, put Liverpool's wage bill at £121m pa, compared to £67m for Spurs.
    There's no bubble to burst.

What the hell do wages have to do with it? This is about total net spend transfer fee's..are you H&G's accountant, or just some simpleton who doesn't understand how football works?

Wages are a total seperate entity...Like buying a car, then a caravan to go with it. And i thought Arsenal fans where thick.

The bubble has burst.Due to Redknapps failure to get into the CL on a regular basis having being the third highest spenders in the top 6 behind Chelsea and City, they have to now sell to buy.Redknapp has himself said so,As I said the shoe is now on the other foot.Lets see how Spurs can compete with a Liverpool that can flex its muscles financially with the best. They won't be able to compete.
