I just can't see how Rodwell is Colback replacement tho. Rodwell & Ki are both ball playing center mids.

Rodwell plays deeper, he's closer to Colback than Ki, with a lot more ability (than Colback).

You know, Ki with Rodwell & Catts would be a lovely CM 3.

Rodwell, fit, could easily worth £10 million more than Colback, who can only play sideways & safe.

I could be 7/10 every week passing it 5 yards into no danger.

I think Rodwell is closer to Ki than Colback like. both play deep with a good passing range but it's all about opinions. I do agree Rodwell is better than Colback but if his fully fit then his better than Ki to.

    He is, definitely.

Rodwells base position mirrors Colbacks, just that he is far superior getting forward and running on, closer to Ki ability wise, 100% agree.

Gus has signed Rodwell to replace Jack IMO, and it's a ****ing great buy.

Rodwell is a big strong lad too, he can give Giacc the protection to play cm.

My main concern is his injury problems, but if they are sorted then he would make an excellent signing.

Love when people start saying what they would do with money like it's championship manager or something! The thing is 10m could be worth every penny just to show potential targets what we are willing to spend and won't hurt in keeping conner either

I'd like to see him kept till Jan at least too, there's something there for sure. He seems like he'd really like to make it here as well which is always good to see.

Jack is a good dependable player. He will do his job for Newcastle. I reserve to say who is better until it is relevant to us.
