And this is the point that some struggle with...its mainly the name change that is the issue.

Then they should join the trust & have their views heard ..... or form their own trust if they feel their views would not be represented

Soz Kempy, I was just using Ben's insults, so you'll have to take that up with him.

CTWD has a membership of 2k. A large proportion of which are people who emigrated away from England. Less than 25% of their membership could be arsed to vote on the future of this new dynasty. Looks pretty apathetic to me. How many made the effort to attend the comical AGM? Apathy rules, even within CTWD.

They are viewed with mistrust by many, and outright scepticism by many more. Changing the name, or at least sticking to their original stated aim of being a single issue protest group would have at least given them some integrity. Think about how many members they have. Then think about how many fans we have. If that's too difficult, think about just the season pass holders. Not really hugely representative of the fans as a whole are they?

Supporting, and changing the existing supporters trust would have been more noble than the smoke and mirrors being used to remove this stain on our history and replace it with the more enigmatic CTWD.

I haven't forgotten anyone, Brucie is brilliant. Neither he nor the club would be doing what they're doing without the Allams. I realise that's a bitter pill for some to swallow, denying it won't change the facts though.

I think that's about the fourth or fifth time you've got personal and insulted me. You whine and moan when similar things happen to you, but don't seem to have any problem dishing it out.

The reality is that enough people in Hull supported CTWD and its campaign to persuade the Premier League and the FA to oppose the name change. Thousands of people sent in postcards to the FA and dug deep in their pockets to fund the campaign. CTWD has sunk roots amongst a significant section of Hull City supporters. The Tigers Co-op think its a good idea to merge with CTWD, as do our members. Because of these two votes we will merge and we'll have a new supporters trust. What relationship the trust will have with the club depends upon the club and the trust finding a way to work together. If that happens then I suspect the vast majority of supporters will be happy. It really isn't rocket science.

    It's CTWD

Suggesting CTWD use "bully boy tactics" without being prepared to substantiate or provide evidence of said "tactics" is worse than any abuse.

You suggested it was CTWD propaganda ("agree or **** off") that you've had to listen too that has made you dislike the group but, yet again, will not produce any evidence to support your statement.

You suggest that CTWD have rammed theories down people's throats & bullied them into believing the theories.

You make accusations of individuals bullying, raising propaganda, ramming theories down people's throats then suggest providing the evidence will start arguments (or discussions in the real world) If you're not prepared to substantiate your accusations I don't think you should be making them.

The abuse usually comes from the pro AA group.

From the type of people who are happy for him to do as he pleases with the club so long as Premier League football is delivered.

From the ones who have never provided any evidence to support how a name change will increase income.

From the people who fail to recognise the recent success as that of HCAFC.

From the type of people who have continually turned everything around to an anti AA campaign so as to hide their inability to offer rationale & informed debate on the subject.

From the type of people who refuse to believe (or offer any reasonable alternative) that the name change proposal was anything other than a childlike spat with HCC.

From the type of people who are happy to be bullied by the owner of the club.

This thread is inflammatory bollocks started by a reactive Premier League whore **** & should be treated as such.

Your refusal to substantiate your accusations means you've made no case to rest.

    Don't. Be daft.

A supporters trust must accept fans of all views and opinions for it to work

Not sure that could work, a group with the implicit approval of the owners can hardly be expected to take a stance against them

Not seen any evidence of anyone starting a YTHT Supporters Trust, yet those who choose not to be part of a supporters trust will still complain that it does not represent them

Remind me again how many people didn't join CTWD? Season ticket holders will do as a ballpark figure as you obviously don't know the full total of Hull City fans.

Also remind me again how many of CTWD bothered to vote on the future of CTWD? In percentage terms.

*EDIT: Just spotted the "your ... group" bollocks. Thanks for attributing that to me, nowt to do with me. Don't let the truth get in the way of any ****e from CTWD"

Well as they're obviously below your radar, I will be keeping schtum, so you don't try and assimilate them, in their own interest and with their tacit agreement of course.
