I wish we'd have had a go for Rodwell, he'd have been an absolutely excellent addition. Dare I say, throw an extra million on top and it'd still have been better value for money than Jakey.

Rodwell was alway going to be leaving this summer for a club from 8th-16th and the club that signed him would be getting a good deal. Very good deal for Sunderland but most importantly for the player. Hopefully he can kick on and live up to his promise of a few years back.
