while we need to sign players of quality - we need to sign players into deals just as much as season long loans - in my opinion signing loan deals will help this summer - but then we are in a similar position to now as we will be filling the gaps left by these loan players if we cannot sign them permanently at the end of this coming season!

Whilst we need to plan long term, there is a pressing need to get players in and avoid relegation (which I'm sure we will do). So although loans are mildly concerning and quite frankly boring, I do understand that we need a few to add to the mix, especially if we are finding it difficult to get the players we need. Better a loan to do a job for us, than a substandard purchase. Of course, it's also okay if Saints sign a star

From what I've seen he's quite similar to Cork, in ability and style. He's obviously not as good as Schneiderlin and I doubt he'd compete with Wanyama for the more defensive role in the midfield 3, but he'll probably compete with whoever's left out of JWP, Cork and Davis for the other midfield spot (I'd assume at the moment JWP is favourite to start there more often). So basically he's probably going to be in the 18 every week, though not starting too often.
A lot of Inter fans really do rate him, says he's got a good engine and is good when on the ball. I would think he will be a squad player to start with, and most likely getting more games over Christmas time when injuries mount. I'm looking forward to this signing.
