To be fair, I think Spurs have a massive squad so they do need a clear out. I can still see Modric and Bale leaving if they don't get back into the Champions League in the next couple of years.

Try this year, they've got a taste for it and I doubt they will wait if they fail again this year.

They aren't going to get in the CL for the foreseeable future.
There is a reason for that...Redknapp is a moron. His spending is comparable to Mancini's who is also a moron.Spurs have spent fortunes signing players that are the same standard as what they origininally had. They haven't got a keeper worthy of playing in the CL.They don't have a defence worthy of the CL.(Real Madrid destroying them proved that),and they have a soft underbelly that is in fact softer than Arsenals. They invested heavily on non prolific strikers. And saying that they are non prolific is fair,as neither Defoe or Crouch managed to hit double figures in the last 3 years. The last time Crouch hit double figures,He was playing for Liverpool.
They got a stroke of luck in getting into the CL.Liverpool were in a mess, and Man City had two managers in the same season.Man City are stronger than they were if not a little bit dysfunctional, almost as dysfunctional as Chelsea.Liverpool are stable, cash healthy and have the bit between their teeth.Their fans think they are competing with the 09/10 and 10/11 Liverpool, they aren't.They are dealing with a rejuvenated Liverpool that is both angry and ruthless and will take them apart without thinking about it,as they are going to be built in their managers image. He's a born competitor that doesn't accept second best.Liverpool are going to be exactly like that. Its my opinion that there will be two ''London teams'' in the Champions league from next season onwards and they are Man United and Chelsea.Man United are a ''London team'' due to the fact thats where 25% of their fans live,70% live in Asia,3% live in Ireland, and 2% live in Manchester.

Wow, you really don't have a clue, do you?

Defoe hasn't hit double figures in 3 years?
He scored 24 goals in total and 18 in the league in the season before last.
Crouch hasn't hit double figures since he was at Liverpool?
He's hit double figures in every season since he left Liverpool, unless you're only counting league goals, in which case he did it at Pompey.

I won't dissect the rest of your bombastic claims, as they're merely hot air.
    Shh.

And Defore scored a magical number of 4 in 2010/2011.

It was 4 in the league and 9 in total.
In other words, you're still wrong! <laugh>

None of our strikers did well last season because our system didn't suit any of them.
We needed a lone striker to lead the line, hold up the ball and bully defenders.
We didn't have a stable enough defence early on, due to injuries and then we ran certain players into the ground, while virtually ignoring others.

Redknapp made mistakes, which I hope that he's learned from, but your argument is based on complete falsehood on one hand and virtual propaganda on the other.

And the mauling Spurs got from Real Madrid proves that Redknapp is a incredibly poor manager that got lucky when other clubs including Liverpool were in disarray. He won't be as lucky in future. And lucky is exactly what he was.His 1 trophy in 30 years of management proves that he's a poor manager.

    Yeah, that's how it works.
One bad result against a very good team at their ground when you're down to 10 men and you're an incredibly poor manager, who just got lucky.
Did he get lucky at Anfield in May, too?

This crap about Liverpool being in disarray keeps rearing it's head.
How often has 70 points been enough for a top 4 finish since the Premier League was reduced to 20 teams?

Firstly Liverpool were in disarray until recently. They were getting outspent by Sunderland and Stoke for **** sake and are currently £110 million behind Spurs in transfer spending since 2009.They are £240 million behind Man City.
Spurs got incredlibly lucky for this reason.Spurs however due to their overall underachievement, and Redknapps wastefulness in the transfer market will have to adhere to a ''sell to buy'' policy. Now thats what I call the shoe being on the other foot, and something Redknapp at Spurs has never been used to.Liverpool can strengthen now without selling to buy.Redknapp himself has said that he needs to ''sell to buy''.When I said Spurs will be dealing with a completely different Liverpool is the truth, they will be dealing with a Liverpool they haven't a hope in being able to compete with. They will finish 6th next season,a few points behind Arsenal who will finish 5th.
Spurs were in the CL when Luis Suarez turned them down. The simple reason is that Suarez doesn't rate them at all.

£110m behind Spurs in transfer spending since 2009?
Spurs' net spend in that time is £18m, whereas Liverpool's is about £2.5m.
Your wage bill at the last count was £121m to our £67m though, so you've spent about £100m more! <laugh>

We're selling players because we've got quite a large number that we don't need.
O'Hara's already gone and he's soon to be followed by the likes of Keane, Bentley, Jenas, Palacios and a few others.
We don't want to be stuck with a load of burdens on our wage bill.

    Suarez didn't turn Spurs down.
    We didn't bid for him.

Fancy being wrong a few more times?

It always cracks me up when everyone tries to crunch numbers, I have seen so many different figures on what Liverpool and the other teams have spent, sold, net spent, gained, lost, red black, etc.

You should be able to net some good kitty with those players, while we are having trouble getting rid of ours due to high wages and the fact we can't seem to get teams to bid for them for a price we want i think. Luckily we don't have to get rid of them to buy but our wage bill does need sorting out. Citeh are finding that out at the moment as no one can match their players wages so can;t really just be rid of players who are now surplus.

I know the Education system in the UK is incredibly poor seeing as children of the age of 6 have the literacy and numeracy skills of David Beckham. How is £121 million-£67 million over £100 million. Its £54 million.
Secondly since 2009,Liverpool have recouped £158 million and spent £134 million and thats includes this summers purchase of Jordan Henderson, therefore their net spend is (-£24 million). Thus being £114 million behind Spurs,as Spurs are £90 million net in the red.
So its you thats in fact wrong.

PleaseNotPoll is of the typically deluded bandwagon type, where a good season for Tottenham means they're on top of the world and better than the whole league.

I do wish their supporters would just look at their club from an outside perspective and realise they are not a force in football at all.

Why don't you point out where I'm wrong, rather than petulantly attacking me like a little bitch, then?
