I wonder how many goals we will put past Arsenal this season...now Drogba's back too, I can see it hitting double figures.
If one day I leave Arsenal, I will never sign for another English team. Quite sure. -Cesc Fabregas Ooh that must sting... Idiot.
You know aswell as I do that is not what a reject is in football. He may have been rejected by Arsenal, but he is not an Arsenal reject.
Lampard signing for an American team and then having to be loaned out to their partner club to maintain fitness, at 36 for a few months is hardly the same as Cesc in his prime moving to one of your main rivals
I think they both said that they would never play for another premier league club and both have shown that to be complete bollocks.
Is this Lampard quote even real? Seems like people have just plucked it from twitter. Lampard was fine moving from West Ham to us so it's no big shock. It's a 6 month loan and Lampard is nowhere near as effective as Cesc will be for us, we'll survive.
Arsenal fans shouldn't care about Fabregas any more. He's severed any remaining ties he had with the club, just another ex player now. I hope if celebrates when he scores against us
I think Fabregas showed his true colours when he decided to go to watch Formula one instead of Arsenal when he was still captain for us before forcing through a move to Barca. Well that has gone tits up now and we didn't want him back, so he's ended up at second choice Chelsea.
Had he gone back to Arsenal he'd already have been the proud owner of an Emirates cup medal.....oh wait.....
Injuries aside, just can't see Lampard getting that much game time for City anyway. The other English lads at City barely get a look in as it is. It's effectively a professional environment to train, keep fit and come in IF needed. Had this been a London club, I don't think Lamps would have gone but we have no issues with City. Imagine though if an ex club captain who'd come through the youth system moved to a rival in his prime, that would be hard to take...
Not sure why all the cesc stuff. He wanted to come back to arsenal, we told him no so he looked elsewhere. At that point we lost our right to getpissed off. We told him no, not the other way round. He doesn't have to show loyalty to a club that didn't want to sign him.
Well said Wenger obviously did not want him back, for whatever reason, and we know that for a fact because Arsenal had first refusal. What should he do then? Quit football? retire at 27 because Arsenal doesnt want him back? He will do what he thinks is best for his career and his family, and Chelsea were there........Dont even know if he had other offers, but its clear he wanted to come back to London.
