I am sure it is open , some have been on the thread below 'Home leg Tickets' saying they have been allocated West stand upper .
so is the south stand going to be a good crowd i think north stand for me check out this new arrangement
It's available on the ticket site, be a good idea if the club actually announced that it's now open though.
Yes, it's now on Tiger Leisure showing as open. FFS, they think they can market the club in the Far East but they can't get it right in far East Hull. They are clueless.
On the basis they originally shut down the South Stand and West Upper I would suggest it shows they are clueless. The match hasn't been marketed AT ALL in the city yet it will be sold out. To you that might make them marketing geniuses. To me it demonstrates, yet again, that they don't even know the market they have on their door step. And why would they? They've openly admitted to knowing **** all about football.
You started a thread without checking first moaning the west upper wasn't open only to find out it had been open for an hour? And you call them clueless? Its cheap and looking like our largest home cup attendance in years. Whats your problem?
Its not hard to find the info just look at the ows or twitter or here. Rather have full stands then scatterings all over, great idea opening them as demand suits.
I'd really like to see what crash gate looks like because based on his posts the image I have created isn't too flattering.
No announcement on Twitter that the West Upper is open, none on facebook to their audience of 750k no announcement on the website. Surely this is basic stuff.
I agree it is a good way of doing it but surely they should announce the opening of each stand as demand dictates. How are the fans going to know there's space to fill? There's going to be a decent crowd not because of them but despite them.
Well I found the info easy enough to get tickets this morning. Maybe they are busy dealing with the queue outside or posting out our season passes?
I know I am far away but I would have thought because it was the first time ever a competitive game involving a European team it will be bound to be a big crowd. Hopefully in a few years it will become a permanent fixture .I am just hoping that City win and carry on in November/December when I am returning so I can achieve the double ie first Premier League game and A European game.
We're heading for a big crowd . Of course because the stands are sold out, they can't be "full" as such because the seats are unreserved so I think they have to leave more than normal empty. But it'll be filled enough and more than anybody was expecting.
