prime candidate fatha, just to calculate the apl league table, something to keep you occupied, as said working out the scores is a heedache (happy to do it) but the last thing you wanna be doing after you've worked all that s**t out is the league, week one is easy

you put your expenses in to brb/minxy each week

If the players were drinking, I think it's disappointing to be honest.

I mean they've just had their holidays to drink, party, do what they like. But this is serious time now, they will be playing their first game in the premier league in 2 weeks, and this is poor preparation, very amateur.

They get paid massively to play football, and take it for granted.

As Harry redknapp once said, drink for footballers is poison, the worst thing the can do.

Not surprised to see the usual faces in the club, cattermole, Johnson ect. For people who can't see nothing wrong with this, can't understand the fitness levels required at premier league level.

Where's that photo of Victor Meldrew? One night off for a bit of a team bonding night out should do more good than harm. I see nowt wrong in that. It's not like they all went out and got completely **** faced is it?

They are not out there to have fun. They are there to get fit for this coming season.

Well what have they being doing for the last two weeks? Do you expect them to train into the early hours? It's just a bonding session before they go home.

We had this tiny lad sign last year, Giacc, could hardly speak a word of English, now he's got his arms around his team mates singing together. Team bonding is an integral part of gelling a team.

Life's too short to have a pole up your arse, no offence but having a drink & a boogie creates a relaxed environment within our club.. Look at last season, no bloody chocolate or laughing & look where that got us..

As long as they drank a respectable amount and behaved themselves then I don't see a problem! If I didn't go out and let off some steam at the weekend then my work during the week would certainly suffer!

They've apparently done a hell of a lot of productive training out there. Gus said it went really well. And now they've had an end-of-training night out and a bit of a bonding session.

No one's claimed any of them got ****-faced or caused any trouble at all.

    Lighten up man.
