2014/2015 Not 606 Liverpool Predictiooooooo League - Interested?

So, I contemplated whether I would do another one of these this season, but was quite a bit of interest last year and with the WC version so if enough people are interested (handy to have about 20 or so) then will do it again this year (have added a poll for you to say if you'll be interested)

I thought this year would make a few changes to how the scoring/prediction is done, but feel free to express your views and any other suggestions.

So my original thinking is it'll include the Premiership and CL games only, unless people really want the League and or FA Cup as well, but also will include one other game from the Premiership which I will decide each week (a game which doesn't have a clear favourite to try and mix things up a bit).

All you'll have to do is predict the score in both the games along with one Liverpool scorer (unless you predict us not to score). You don't have to predict a scorer in the other fixture.

A perfect score prediction will get 5 points per game
A correct result with correct GD will get 2 points per game
A correct result will get 1 point per game

1 Point if a forward scores
3 Points if a midfielder scores
5 points if a defender scores

You'll also predict where you think Liverpool will finish in each of the 4 competitions we enter.

• Premiership - 15
• League Cup - 10 points
• FA Cup - 10 points
• Champ League - 10 points

Don't post your predictions on this thread as I'll post the first proper one next weekend to give everyone a week to get their predictions in.

Predictio League, great.

I'd still put in the scorer, because I think it'll be less easy to predict now that Gnasher's off in the sun.
As you're doing it though, it's up to you what you want to include.

It's up to you mate but I's still retain the scorer. Especially as saint says, that Suarez is no longer here.

 

Retain the scorer. As Saint said, it'll be less predictable this season without gnasher. Especially whilst Studge is out injured

 

Fair enough. Thought would be even more predictable what with Sturridge being the only real forward but I'm a mod of the people so will give you what you want

Now watch as everyone predicts Sturridge as the scorer in the first game
