Ah well, commentary it is. Hope we bang some goals in tonight, we played well in the last game

i wish the club would at least get the preseason on the radio.

Has to be a few quid to be made, i know they would have at least 5k captive audience for 2 hours

I know its only pre season and your supposed to say its pre season man it doesn't count. However if we were bangin them in and wining 5-0 we all would be creaming.

I'm pretty sure I've said this before to you Baz, but you are not a true mackem fan. You have no heart for the club.

 

A win, a loss and a draw, one goal scored and one conceded is not too bad, we don't have prolific strikers, but we seem to be playing good football and the fitness and sharpness will make a difference up front. It is strange that we seem to be stronger at the back than up front, with last nights team you would have thought it would be the other way round.

 

You have to factor in the heat and humidity as well mate, for the lads just approaching fitness the heat will have been a killer, and the oppo are used to it.

That's would have a bigger effect pushing forward I dare say.

The 2 games we have back home should give a good indication of where we are fitness and system wise.

 

Good points, it has been a useful workout for the players and also the team spirit seems high, a few points on the board and all will be well.

Poyet pays tribute to travelling fans.
During their 10-day stay in Portugal Sunderland were backed by hundreds of fans, who had made the trip to support their team.
Albufeira became a sea of red and white during the Black Cats’ stay and this didn’t go unnoticed by head coach Gus Poyet.

“The fans have been magnificent,” the Uruguayan told safc.com.

“They sang throughout every game and they’ve travelled far to back us, I was delighted to see so many there, they made us feel at home.
“They are magnificent for the club and for the players,” he concluded.

 

I don't give a **** what you have to say & by the way I'll be at the Betis game on Thursday & I very much doubt you will be there.

 

Enjoy the match, no doubt you'll be slagging the lads off everytime they lose the ball or mistimed a pass.

 

It's a friendly so I'm not bothered about the result or how we play. just going to watch some footy & have a couple of drinks.
