No one has said he offered himself to United for them to reject him. It's you saying he turned down a job he was never offered.
This is all ridiculous. No one knows either way. Jose said he wasnt offered the United job and was never up for it. So this is pointless. Madinat you are doing the exact thing you criticise Purley for doing you ****ing clown shoes! Neither of you know either way and are just stating whatever sits best with your agendas. I personally feel that Moyes wasnt first choice and other people were approached, whether Jose is lying and he was approached I dont know, but at the end of the day, does it ****ing matter? Its done now......Jose and Man United have both moved on, so this is a pointless subject where no one knows the ACTUAL truth thats been discussed to death, so lets just drop it
Oh I see, you were doing that thing where you say something f**ing stupid and then get made to look a c**t, so you pretend that you said it "ironically" or post a hilarious picture of someone fishing and say it was all some ingenious ploy to get a reaction from someone I believe its called the "HIAG Technique" on these boards. Understood!
That's more like it! Blame Blair. He has managed to wriggle out of most things, be nice to pin this one on him. He could get Cruella De Ville to defend him
He also said he never wanted the job, and that Chelsea was his first choice. He could be talking **** on both counts, in the case of being offered the Man Utd job, he may have denied being offered it and refusing as not to make the club look foolish and not to undermine Moyes' appointment. He also may have said Chelsea was his first choice when he really wanted United so as to not upset Chelsea fans. My point is, unless someone wants to kidnap Jose and put him on a sonograph we will never know. He will probably say in 20 years time after he retires in some autobiography. Until then, it is pointless debating it......
Never known Mourinho to miss a chance to undermine a potential rival! As you say, we'll probably never know 100% what happened, but given that Utd denied offering Mourinho the job and Mourinho denied being offered the job it seems pretty strong evidence that he wasn't considered by Utd as being a candidate, just like Ancelotti. Utd may well have considered both of them, but all the evidence indicates that neither of them were offered the job before Moyes. Whether that turns out to have been the right decision or not, we'll just have to wait and see!
Nah, Jose has always had the utmost respect for United and SAF in particular. If it were Arsenal then he would have relished sticking the boot in , he seems to love trolling Wenger.
Don't you start. I like you UiR, but when you get started on this subject it becomes farcical. Where is it clear ffs? LOL Because Jose was nice about United in interviews and stuff? Couldnt be at all that he respects and has admiration for the biggest club in the country and the most successful British manager of all time?
Didnt say he applied. Just that he wanted it. He clearly did. Whether it went any further than him day dreaming about it we will never know. doesnt matter though, weve now got his dad
Jose is already moaning about the Ref in the 3 - 0 defeat, thank god the UTD board did not go for him to be the UTD boss.
