Lamb on the bone, veggies around it and half a bottle of red poured over, slow roasted with the lid on. Was the best meat I've ever cooked.
The veggie thread inspired me to go and get 1lb of lean mince and make one enormous burger. Onions, garlic and birdeye chilli in the mix, onion rings, Nandos sauce too. Unbelievable Im not moving from this sofa for the next hour or so to let that mix about in the old gullet
can't beat a good homemade burger... I always add a handful if chickpeas to the mix for a better "bond"...sometimes lean mince burgers can break apart.
Gives it a nice texture... You have to be careful as too many make it to gooey... I'd say two to three table spoons worth if making two decent size burgers.
