Not the away game, home game back in April. Looked so disinterested didn't, even congratulate De Guzman on his goals stropped back to the half way line.
Clubs of our size and budget will always be battling relegation Mikra. That's life I'm afraid. The comment :"Michu was always very loyal to the club when he was very successful" is one bandied around a lot here. What's the evidence of that? How many serious bids for him did we turn down during that purple patch? Michu was loyal to himself and Laudrup - certainly not to Swansea City nor its fans - and is now making the right noises to his new following. All very predictable really. Like others I'm glad he was our player but the way he's behaved for a long time now has led me to believe he's not only emotionally fragile but is self centred, unprofessional, and very much too big for his own boots.
For a club our size the number 1 priority is survival - even in the fourth season. Every position above that is a bonus.
Well you make a sweeping statement. how do you know. I actually think your comments is a scandulous slur on our club and our management.
I find that very sad, if that is a fact. Any club - and fans supporting it - should be aiming to win, not to avoid loosing. A mid-table finish, or going for one of the cups should be a minimum (except that Monk shows no interest in playing European football). The positions achieved in latter seasons underline this. Battling against relegation will inevitably lead to relegation sooner or later, very often sooner!
So you make that assumption on the team he played against Everton when he had been in charge no time at all, because that was the only cup game he had been in charge for. it appears you are totally anti GM from your comments. Lets see what he does in his first full season. Then come back and make those comments, IF you are right.
In that case you're too easily offended. I don't like monk or jenkins. Everybody knows this! I haven't said one negative word about club, fans or city! And of course my theories are my own speculation - as everything else is this time of the year...
I agree with that theory Mikra but the reality is that we are one the smallest if not the smallest club in the Prem. Mid table is a decent season. Top half excellent and a European spot superb. We simply can't compete with the bigger clubs off the pitch so it's unlikely we can achieve a great deal on it. A cup win and top 6 and we're in dreamland. That's not pessimistic but facing reality.
Spot on. We have many little britons who begrudge any foreigner any level of success. Just wait for the abuse Bony will get when he moves on!
i am not offended by what you say, But since ML has gone all you do is come on here and post negative comments about my club. it is your opinion I accept that. But if I dont like what you say and i dont I will say.
Fielding the team he did against Everton was mocking the amazing win at Old Trafford. And furthermore I must add the two matches against Napoli: they were a disgrace!
mikra are you taking the Piss. We were excellent both home and away against Napoli. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26252289 Disgraceful to play a full side and out possesion them and be unlucky due to good goalkeeping http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26358123 and yet another disgraceful perforance against a side who went out of the CL on goal difference.
If that's how you read my posts you are very choosing in what you read. I have opinions - so do you - we're intitled to those. And rather sensitive too...
I wonder what the above poster would have said about those games if Laudrup had still been in charge.
