Well I am hoping for something similar with talented young players that had not played at this level coming through and performing well. However, we did have a spine that had played together for a long time and we knew we had goals in our forward line. Let's hope we can mirror this.

 

Been waiting all summer (actually, much longer than that) for us to be linked to Young. Very, very, very pleased to finally see it.

I could be completely wide of the mark, but I have every faith that his old Villa form is still in there somewhere. It just hasn't really worked out for him at Utd.

That said, I do fear that his wage demands might be well in excess of what we would be prepared to offer.

 

According to The Sun we will bid for Butland.

 

Is Butland as good as we thought he was?

You used to like Lallana

 

Thank you. Always made me laugh how Lallana was basically whiter than white when it came to his falling to the ground easily.

 

The majority of players dive/cheat whatever you want to call it, so I do not see why some players get massively targeted where as others are ignored. It is probably just the ones who are good at it who get targeted as they win more penalties/free kicks from it.

 

I wouldn't call Young good at diving. Yes Lallana went down easy, but I have never seen Lallana do what Young does. The stick out a leg crap he does is annoying.

 

Young's a hell of a lot worse. He goes to ground every game without fail.

 

Yeah I never liked Lallana very much. He whines constantly, falls easily, always bickering with the referee. I tolerated it because he was a Saint, but I never liked it.


And I'm not just saying it now with hindsight.

 

Each to their own, diving doesn't bother me at all, I don't want Young particularly as I just don't think he is very good.

 

There are no degrees of honesty. You cheat, or you don't.
