As I showed in a previous post (and the figures don't lie) we DON'T have anything like a democracy in Britain and even though AV was a poor idea, it would still have been far more democratic that the corrupt sytem we currently have, yet with so many people allowed to vote that can't think for themselves, is it any wonder we have the UNDEMOCRATIC system we use.

So you would remove the right to vote from some citizens of the country. How is it democratic if the voting does not reflect every section of society.

Voting should either be compulsory, you can always spoil your paper if you don't like any of the alternatives, or it should only be available to those able to think for themselves, the current sysem is a farce, there are huge swathes of Britain where people just vote the same way as their parents and their parents before them, without considering what they're doing (even if they are capable of doing so)

You mean like in places like Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire where record numbers just voted SNP in the Scottish elections despite these areas being Labour strongholds? Seriously mate, you need to get your attitude towards other people sorted.
