Thought lambert was supposed to be better than Gerrard at pens? **** was that?
 
#PeterCrouch2 Just knew he'd miss that. However many goals from the spot for Southampton, and then a really weak one for us. Urgh
 
Weak penalty. More worryingly is just the complete lack of pace and movement by him, looks like we just have ibe and sterling up top. We really need another striker.

Give the lad a chance... he's played what, about 120 minutes for us all in friendlies with a mixture of first team and reserve players <doh>
 
I'm glad Lambo is looking poor in pre-season. Our signings always perform different when the real stuff happens

Yeah, Frank, whatever, you can say that. I'm certainly enjoying watching the lads on a Saturday evening showing matured confidence, but weekend mornings are probably more 'normal' for me.
