Wouldn't be getting too excited lads. Rovers' 1st team got hammered 4-1 by lowly Limerick last night and played a 2nd string team against us. Our passing was ropey but the lads did get some full on tackling in. 4 goals is 4 goals though........
So Shamrock Rovers did not believed match against QPR as a valuable training so they played against some limerick with their best XI......and played against QPR with their reserves....Strange.
I read somewhere Shamrock sacked their Manager same morning as the game! It didn't seem we had much opposition, the formation seemed to work ok, but it is going to be given a much bigger test in 2 and 3 weeks!
