The bit about "waiting for Inter" could be to do with Taider possibly saying no to the loan and Schelotto being the back up player for the loan deal though

 

Schelotto is a RB, so I guess cover for Clyne would be OK. At least he isn't a CB for example, or a striker, with us desperately needing to bring in quality players to those positions.

 

Exactly. Squad depth is needed, and I don't mind loans for a player that we don't want at all, rather than a small loan fee that does nothing for us. If we loan in strikers and a CB, then I'll be concerned. Unless of course we loan in Javier Hernandez

 

No he's not, his main position is a winger.

 

Oh, sorry, what I've read label him as a RB.

 

I think Inter played him as a right wing back but that's not his best position.

Which means we're ony 2 years away from potentially having players born in 2000 !

 

I mentioned that a while ago and have been trying to forget it ever since. Sounds even worse if you say that there will soon be an age group all born in the 21st century.

 

He looks stupidly good on the ball for a 16 year old centre back. Heading and tackling on point as well

 

Really hope we are seriously in for this guy. We really need 2 or 3 for a real statement of intent like Clasie , Van Dijk/Vlaar and Rojo.

Worried we will only sign loans and a couple of cheap alternatives as will not trust a word the board says until we actually land some permanent signings not just loans ans start spending some reasonable money.

It actions now needed from the board not words and signings are needed very urgently with only 2 weeks till the new season. Why do i get the feeling by 11.00 pm tomorrow there will be huge disappointment with not 1 of the 3 signings actually mentioned by Koeman actually having got over the line

 

We seem to be struggling to get the players we want...I also fear that we have to take players not our first choice, just because we have to have some players. Not that they are useless, but not as good as we had hoped.
