    Happy birthday mate :emoticon-0166-cake:

Start with Muthmir - the 7's long gone now and a very competitive race, but this is a horse going places <ok>

And as it's also my birthday tomorrow I'm hoping we both have some luck :D

    Telly picks:

    G 2-05 Confessional & School Fees ew
    G 2-40 Oasis Fantasy
    G 3-15 Mango Diva
    G 3-50 Muthmir & Alben Star ew

I seem to have become a Pricewise follower, but I was only swayed towards Mango Diva - the other mistakes are all my own!

At Newmarket, Marmoon and Enlace in a short prices double

    Good luck all <ok>

A very bad Glorious Goodwood was turned into a good one yesterday for me with J Wonder. Hopefully i can carry that on in to today!

3.15 Narniyn - looks a very weak renewal of the Nassau and this filly has proven group 1 form which is more than can be said for most of these. I think Venus De Milo wants further and this looks a good opportunity for the French raider

3.50 Muthmir - Not very original but a repeat of last week and this could be another procession

5.00 When Will It End - Won well last time out at HQ and looks to have plenty of improvement left. Hannon and Hughes will want to end the festival well and think he will take a lot of beating here.

Also gone with Chelsea on School Fees and im with Bob re Enlace at Newmarket. Ill be amazed if she doesnt win

    3.50 Goodwood- York Glory - 33/1 ew

IMO is a huge price, won the Wokingham at the royal meeting last yr an was doing very well in pattern company . He has not been in any of the same form since but likes these big fields and a strongly run race will suit him with his powerful finish and I am taking a chance but if he can find any of that form from last yr he is a huge price

    Afternoon All

Right now the kids are sat in front of the television and fed I can do the important part of the day and pick some horses !!

Each Way Lucky 15 for me today

2.05 Goodwood School Fees 20/1 - Fancy improvement with Hughes on board, so with Chelsea on that one
2.55 Newmarket Zifena - 25/1 Placed on last 2 starts, place prospects at least
3.40 Thirsk Altharoos -33/1 Back from a break but has C/D Winning Form, so if ready to go could run a big race at the odds
3.50 Goodwood Fairway To Heaven - 25/1 Won well at Windsor after meeting trouble twice, could still be some improvement, well the trainer reckons so anyway !

    Cheers Trevez

I hope Nass and Reebs lose a good chunk today.

    I don't care if it's their birthdays.

Roll up, roll up, ladies and gentlemen. Here is the Mug’s Bet Of The Day: a treble – Kings Fete, Enlace and Muthmir.

Kings Fete is the best bet of the three, on a hat-trick following a comfortable win at York; but only 13/8 to beat twelve rivals because the form is there to see (2/1 last night).
Enlace was entered in the Molecomb according to the trainer’s son on The Morning Line and is entered in the Cheveley Park; but is only 13/8 to beat sixteen rivals because it is a stone well in. Who knows if any of the others (10/1 bar one) is a Group horse in the making but has not advertised the fact? (2/1 last night)
Muthmir has the relatively simple task of beating nearly thirty rivals because he is a Group horse in the making (like half the sprinters in training) and is currently a massive 7/2 for victory (7/1 last night).

Phrases involving pigeons and cats come to mind...

Stan James have some absurd prices up on the Whitney tonight.

    7/2 Palace Malace
    8/1 Will Take Charge

    even 25/1 Departing looks stupid

    surely a mistake?
