the houses and castles and palaces wouldnt be famous without the royal family living in them. the royal familys crown estates makes britain circa £200million profit each year.
The combined 63p from every taxpayer would be better spent on public services that actually make a difference like health and social care or education or roads maintenance etc

They cost us practically **** all, bring in loads of tourists and raise our profile as a nation around the world like nobody else can, if you feel you need to whinge about people who do actually **** up our great nation, try bankers, politicians, greedy cheating sportsmen, drug dealers, people traffickers, work shy scroungers, terrorists, religious zealots and vegans.
